Kentucky Lien & Title Start a vehicle
Done-for-you vehicle lien & title processing — Kentucky

Every tow starts a clock. We never miss one.

We turn the abandoned vehicles on your lot into clean titles and collected storage fees. We handle the notices, the certified mail, the newspaper ads, the county paperwork, and every deadline. You text or email us a photo of the tow ticket or repair order. We do the rest.

Deadlines are money

Whatever you're holding, a clock is running.

Tow yards, repair shops, storage lots — every unclaimed vehicle is on a legal clock. Miss one and the money comes out of your pocket. There's no warning letter. It just happens.

Tow yards & impound lots
10 DAYS

A late notice costs you your storage fees.

The owner notice is due within 10 days of the tow. Send it late and Kentucky law cuts off your storage charges at day 10. Everything after that is free parking.

Repair & body shops
30 DAYS

Customer never came back for the car?

Once the repair bill is 30 days past due, Kentucky's mechanic's lien lets the vehicle move toward a title or sale. Same process, same protection. Text us the repair order instead of a tow ticket.

KRS 376.270 / 376.275
Storage facilities & dealers
45 DAYS

After 45 days, the vehicle can be sold.

Once the notices go out and 45 days pass with no response, the vehicle can be sold free and clear. But only if every notice before that was done right — and you can prove it.

KRS 376.275(1)(c)

Before any sale, the law also requires three weekly ads in your county's approved newspaper (KRS 424.120). The wrong paper doesn't count. We place the ads.

What you get

Your whole lot on one page.

You get one status page that shows every vehicle you have with us — where each one stands and what happens next. Open it any time, from any phone. Approve the next step or stop everything, right on the page. We text you when something needs you.

Behind it runs LIENCLOCK, our deadline system. It works out every legal date the day a file opens and reworks them when anything changes. Watching the deadlines is our job, not yours.

How it works

You send one photo. We run the rest.

No portal to learn, no forms to fill out, no fax machine. Your counter person can start a vehicle in the time it takes to take a picture.

01

Text a photo of the ticket

Snap the tow ticket or repair order and text it to (859) 495-3266, or email it. We read it, confirm the details back to you, and open the file the same day. If anything is unclear, a person checks it. We never guess at a VIN.

02

We run every clock

We find the owner and any lienholders, send the certified notices, handle police holds, run the newspaper ads, and build the county clerk paperwork. Before any step you can't take back, we ask for your YES — by text or right on the vehicle's status page.

03

You sign. We file.

We put the packet together — every receipt, green card, and affidavit in order. You sign, we take it to the county clerk. You end up with the title, the sale, or your fees collected, plus a complete file that holds up if anyone ever questions it.

What's included

The whole process, start to finish.

Flat fee per vehicle. Everything below is in it.

You stay in control

Nothing irreversible happens without your YES.

It's your vehicle, your lot, and your name on the paperwork. We stop and ask before every step you can't take back — by text, or right on the vehicle's status page.

GATE

Before the sale notices go out

We confirm the vehicle is still on your lot and nobody has paid before any sale notice mails.

"Reply YES if it's still on your lot."

GATE

Before the ad runs

Newspaper ads cost money and start legal clocks. We don't place one until you say so.

"Reply YES to run the ad this week."

STOP

Owner showed up and paid?

Tap the button on the status page, or text one letter. Everything stops — clocks, mail, ads. You have 24 hours to undo a mistake.

"Reply R if redeemed or released."

Pricing

One flat number. Never a percentage of your sale.

Certified mail and state record fees are included. The only separate charge is the newspaper ad Kentucky requires before a sale — billed at cost, shown to you first. Our fee is billed to you, never added to the vehicle's charges. A lien padded with extras is a lien someone can fight. Yours stays clean.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Who is this for?

Kentucky tow yards, repair shops, and storage facilities holding vehicles the owner walked away from — towed, impounded, repaired and never picked up, or abandoned in a storage lot.

Are you a law firm?

No. We prepare documents and manage the process. Every notice follows the Kentucky statutes, every deadline we track cites the law behind it, and anything filed with a government office or signed under oath is signed by you, not us. When a case needs a lawyer, we say so.

My customer never picked up their car after repairs — does this work for me?

Yes — that's a Kentucky mechanic's lien (KRS 376.270), and it's the same service. Text or email us the repair order and tell us when the bill came due. The same notices, ads, and paperwork move the vehicle toward a title or sale. Same flat fee, and storage charges can keep adding up while it sits.

What does it cost me if the owner redeems the vehicle?

You still pay the full fee — because that's the process working. The owner paid your charges to get the car back, and that's the best outcome there is. Text us one letter, or tap the button on the status page, and everything stops.

How long until I can sell a vehicle?

Kentucky law sets the timeline: about 45 days after the notices go out, plus the newspaper weeks before a sale. We make sure you never wait a day longer than the law requires — and never sell a day sooner than it allows.

What do you need from me to start?

A photo of the tow ticket or work order, texted or emailed. We take it from there and confirm the details back to you before anything mails.

What happens to my storage charges if notices go out late?

If the owner notice goes out late, Kentucky law cuts off your storage charges at day 10. That's why the 10-day notice is the first clock we set on every file.
